FAQs

How often do I need a paint job?

With exceptions to every rule, most houses need to be painted every 5 – 10 years. There are many factors that play into your need.

Examine the surface of your project. Ask: “Is it fading, cracking, or peeling? Is there mold or water stains? Am I planning on selling soon?”

The answers to these questions will more accurately reflect how often you are required to paint. To be short, if it looks like it needs to be painted, it probably does.

Why do I need a paint job?

Protection is the primary reason to consider painting your property. Mold, mildew, and insects will infect a property without quality paint. Eventually, water damage will protrude any surface exposed to the elements and require further intervention after extensive neglect.

Repainting a home before a sale increases its curb appeal, an important design element of your asset. Market competition, too, should be considered while prepping your home for a sale.

Some experts boast returns on investments over 51%, claiming to boost a homes value by 2 – 5%. While the initial cost to your project may be intimidating, this necessary work will add value while protecting your investment.

How much will it cost?

The average cost of painting a home in the United States is roughly $3600 – $4800; in North Dakota, professional pricing comes in at higher rates. Comparatively, we are very competitive.

Here are some factors that go into pricing.

  • Materials
  • Hours of labor
  • Prep work (scraping, sanding, pressure washing)
  • Priming
  • Coats of Paint
  • Large Equipment Rentals (scaffolding, scissor lifts, telehandlers)

You’ll know exactly what you’re paying before the job begins. All bids cover the job’s requirements from start to finish. Just pick the color!
